Gnarls Barkley makes an interesting publicity still
And these Yanks are making British musical history. Which is the best kind of musical history to make. Does their name reference former basketball great Charles Barkley? Does confusion on this front cause Sir Chuck to seek solace at the tables.
I can not answer these questions. I can tell you Gnarls Barkely's single Crazy is nothing special. Given the hype and their pedigree I expected something different and more. The song sounds like Maroon 5 on a good day. Maybe the rest of the album will be better. Not sure if I will take the chance and download it.

Downloading it was total waste of the 30 seconds it took me to find it, the 15 minutes it took me to download it, the 45 seconds it took me to unpack the .rar file, the 2 minutes it took me to open iTunes (what the fuck is that about, by the way?), the 20 seconds it took me to import the folder into my iTunes library, the 5 seconds it took me to put a blank CD into my drive, the 10 minutes it took me to burn it, and the 14 minutes it took me to listen to the first bits of each song before deciding that I shouldn't have believed the hype.
Plus, if I'd just waited four more days, it would've been out in stores.
