The Grinch that stole Fitzmas

I am surprised. I was sure Rove was going to be indicted. Since I don't know anyone "close to the case" and I am not a "legal expert" I was relying on the wisdom of others who do and are.

It turns out not everything on the internet is true. Even if the site looks fancy and uses words like "pro-forma" and "empanelled."

I feel older, but wiser.

In my defense, they may have also fooled The President. What is he doing in Iraq on today of all days? (I'm not the only who's wondering what he is doing
there.) Getting Zarqawi was nice, but the place is still a mess. I'm sure Bush will be able to get in some Zarqawi gloating on his trip -- strictly for the troops. But I can't imagine he will be able to get that into it with the explosions and all.

If Bush was back home he could spend all day gloating about Rove in the IED-free White House. Maybe the Rose Garden. Better yet, he could be in Crawford gloating and clearing brush simultaneously. He hasn't been able to pull that move in years. It's a shame. Sometimes I think he's not very happy.

Now that Rove can fully concentrate on his advisory duties I do not anticipate any more mix ups like this.

Did you hear Fitzgerald is a Republican? I don't doubt it is true, but it's funny how they never mentioned it before this morning.

And who are they. . ?

The folks that should be very, very suspicious today. First CA 50, then Zarqawi, now no Fitzmas in July, and I'm getting late word that Alberto will not destroy Florida. In fact, it's not even a hurricane. Which is strange with all the ice that has melted in Antarctica since the last storm season.

I don't know what to make of it all. Maybe just a weird coincidence? But certainly something they should look into. And keep repeating, over and over again. Eventually someone will be able to tie it all together -- and probably back to Cheney. Someone on the internet will do the tying, I predict.

I will keep an open mind, but be a little more skeptical than I was before.
