City hall says no to sexy

You've probably read an article or may even know someone who lost or didn't get a job because they had left a trail of easy to find racy photographs on the Internet.

But having a permanent record of Girls Gone Wild poses is no longer just for summer interns and first year associates. Carmen Kontur-Gronquist, the Mayor of Arlington, Oregon got into the exhibitionist act when pictures of her leaning out the front seat of a firetruck while wearing a push-up bra surfaced on the web.

This led to a recall campaign against Kontur-Gronquist. On Monday, Arligton voted 142-139 to oust the single mother from office. It was an impressive display of civic involvement, considering there are only 366 registered voters in the town.

But Ron Miller, who organized the recall, claimed it wasn't only about her tight abbs and misuse of city property. In fact what might have done Kontur-Gronquist in was her cutting back on fall and winter golf at the town's municipal course, angering the golfer constituency.

Kontur-Gronquist, who earlier called the whole process "cruel," on Tuesday told a local news station she thought her final verdict was "fair," claimed "no regrets" and applauded the democratic process.

She added she likes long walks on the beach and guys with great senses of humor.
