Watch "Da Bull"-- mascot for the minor league Austin Toros --wander onto the court as the opposing Colorado 14ers fast break. Finding himself in the middle of the action, Mr. Bull steals an ally-opp pass and throws it down with subversive authority.

I blame the Burger King mascot, whose digitally enhanced athleticism and penchant for trespassing has emboldened mascots everywhere.

And I credit "Da Bull" for pulling off the stunt aided only by his fast-twitching muscles and a total disregard for public safety.

The mascot will be suspended for two games, and must perform fifty hours of community service. Although I'm pretty sure being the awesomist mascot ever counts as community service.
