The Huckaboom is alive and well

It's award season for human beings, as this week Time has released its list of the
World's 100 Most Influential People and People weighs in with the World's 100 Most Beautiful.

Both lists are surely quite inaccurate, but the nice thing about going with 100 is you probably do get 15 or 20 right. Anyway, it's not like the rest of us can do a better job. Case in point, Time has a feature on its website on which the public could vote for most influential. Millions took advantage of the opportunity, and here are the results:

Just to clarify: Miyamoto is a Japanese video game programmer; Rain a Korean pop singer, Tyler Perry a basic cable sitcom star; and Neil deGrasse Tyson an astrophysicist (and was recognized as one the 100 most influential by the magazine's editors last year.)

You should already know why most of the rest of the names have no business on such a list. It's interesting to note that there are more supermodels in the people's top five picks for world's most influential than there are supermodels in People mag's list of the 100 most beautiful.
